- Racal Redac CADstar PCB, the 6Mb source base of which I converted from PL/M to C (Racal Redac, Tewkesbury, 1988)
- Racal Redac Visula PCB CAD, to the post-processing suite of which I added collision avoidance code (Racal Redac, Tewkesbury, 1988)
- Audio+Design SoundMaestro, to which I added "rock-'n-roll" or back-and-forth editing (Audio Design, Pangbourn, 1989)
- Interphase Peregrine 4211 VMEbus FDDI board, for which I developed the pSOS Network Interface (Interphase, Bicester, 1992)
- Nortel TN-4X SDH multiplexer(pdf) on which project I was the pSOS guru (BNR, Harlow, 1993-4)
- the story of how Paul Oliver developed the Intasolve 400/415 Touchscreens for which I wrote the Win3.1 pointer driver and configuration app (Intasolve, Colchester, 1995-6)
- Drake DCS3000 intercom for which I wrote various special panel firmware (Drake Electronics, Welwyn Garden City, 1995-7)
- Philips DVD930 DVD player for which I wrote some device drivers and pSOS kernel fixes (STMicroelectronics, Bristol, 1997-9)
- Marconi MSH80 SDH cross-connect for which I provided the design for MSP in software (Marconi, Chelmsford, 1999)
- Cabletron SSR-600 router(pdf) to whose CRS(pdf) software I added VPN Network Management features (Cabletron now Enterasys, Reading, 1999-2000)
- Debis ETC telematics platform(pdf) on which I implemented flash filesystem, xpatch and other COTS software (Visteon, Chelmsford, 2002)
- Pentland Systems RAD2 for which I implemented the Linux 2.4 device driver (Pentland, Livingston, 2003)
- DTS Versatile Processing Platform (VPP) for which I was responsible for the initial development of the embedded Linux 2.6 firmware, including bootcode/build-config/device drivers/codec porting/COTS porting/streaming daemons (Digital Theater Systems (UK) Ltd, Bangor NI, 2005)
- Teletrac VLU(pdf) on which I implemented the Orbcomm Serial Protocol for Satellite Backup (Trafficmaster, Cranfield, 2006)
